LCP Properties has begun the BREEAM certification process for its portfolio in Poland.
By adopting sustainable practices, we enhance the long-term value of our portfolio and strengthen our market position.
LCP Properties, part of M Core, has initiated the BREEAM certification process for its portfolio in Poland. By the end of 2025, all 93 properties, covering over 330,000 sqm of rental space, are expected to be certified. This step aligns with the company's ESG strategy, aiming to reduce its carbon footprint.
The portfolio includes M Park retail parks and Multipark SBU logistics spaces, which represent about half of the company's holdings. The first property, M Park Plac Vogla in Warsaw, has already received Excellent-level certification in both Asset and Management Performance categories.
In addition to BREEAM certification, LCP is installing electric vehicle charging stations, planting trees near retail parks, and preparing roofs for future photovoltaic panel installations. These initiatives are part of a broader effort to integrate environmental considerations into business operations.
"This certification process reflects both our commitment to sustainable practices and sound business strategy. The BREEAM certification process is both a challenge and an opportunity. It's essential for aligning our properties with global environmental standards, but also a part of our business strategy. By adopting sustainable practices, we enhance the long-term value of our portfolio and strengthen our market position." commented James Fife, CEO of LCP, part of M Core in Poland.
